THE JUDGE IRELAND CHILDREN'S FUND

The mission of the Judge Ireland Children’s Fund, Inc. is to assist indigent families and children who appear before the Suffolk County Juvenile Court in Boston, Massachusetts. These children and families have experienced severe hardship and distress as a result of neglect, abuse, domestic violence and mental illness. 

 

The Judge Ireland Children’s Fund was established in 1990 to celebrate the Honorable Justice Roderick L. Ireland. Judge Ireland spent 13 years as a Judge in the Suffolk County Juvenile Court. When his career took him to the Appeals Court, he requested that the attorneys perpetuate his legacy of compassion for the children who came to the Suffolk County Juvenile Court.
